There is one System Controller per system. Its primary duty is to control the central dust collector. When any gate signals the Controller that a tool has been turned on, the Controller turns on power to the collector by means of a power relay.

In addition, the collector may be turned on or off with a manual switch on the Controller. Two LED’s indicate system power and collector activation.

The Controller has a user-selectable voltage of either 115VAC or 230VAC, single phase and can handle up to a 1 horsepower, 115 Volt or 2 horsepower, 230 Volt collector.

There is an overload detector should the gate network become shorted or overloaded. An additional fuse protects the electronics of the entire system.
